My next mission takes me back into the depths of The Dragonspire sim, the colouful caverns have a special interest this time because the store I’m looking at is also responsible for the sim build. The glowing crystals are part of the wares of Refined Wild store owner and mesh builder, Khyle Sion.
Illuminating the caverns so we can see where we are going, these crystals and accompanying displays bring a sparkle of light to what would otherwise be a dark dank area where Goblins would have way too much fun.
The store at Fantasy Faire contains many varied items such as wooden signs, fonts, wells, hair, obelisks, eyes, pipes of the smoking variety, necklaces and original items designed just for Fantasy Faire 2013. There’s plenty of choice here, this is a very diverse line of products.
Khyle helped to design and build The Dragonspire, putting plenty of time into not only the layout and delivery of this sim, but also finding time to put out items for Fantasy Faire too to help with the fundraising effort.
Refined Wild’s main store sits in the sky at StarFire Point, and Khyle informs us:
“This is a collective shop of two Second Life creators: Khyle Sion and Saikatsu Epsilon. It was created when both creators wanted to start their own shop, but did not have enough products on thier own to each fill a small plot of land. The shop was officially opened in April of 2007.
While the style of StarFire Point has changed over the years, the product has grown in number, originality and style. You will find some of the most unique and high-quality content here at StarFire Point, utilizing the latest building techniques and the best texturing possible for each build.
In 2008, StarFire Point began taking on various ‘beginner’ builders and passionate builders with a very small sellable inventory to give them an oppourtunity to sell their items without needing a full shop. These are selective services, and provided to these merchants as a free donation.
Completely rebuilt for 2011 and the prospect of Mesh Import, StarFire Point will continue to provide some of the best, original content in Second Life.”
