Linden Lab have announced that, It’s Time to Celebrate Second Life – SL16B is Officially Open!
A good place to start is the welcome area, where you can pick up a complete avatar to get in the 50’s theme for the sweet sixteen celebrations.
There are over 170 community exhibits at SL16B and you can get an overview of what they are and where they are by visiting the dedicated SL16B Destination Guide.
There’s also a hunt, in the form of the Swaginator SL16B hunt where you are invited to try and find the retro themed gifts across the SL16B regions.
Sl16B will also feature music, conversations with the Lindens and a lot more, keep your eye on the calendar of events for more details.
There will be plenty to see and do, you may bump into old friends and new, you may even bump into some bloggers, whom you should recognise by the fact that they seem to stand around a lot and don’t seem responsive. I call it multitasking, Inara Pey has a much more reasonable term for it, I’m sure.
Now remember, the event will be busy, especially in the first few days, so be patient, the event runs until July 8th so there’s plenty of time to see the exhibits and you don’t have to be next to singers or speakers to see or hear singers and speakers, be creative and most of all, have fun!
