An Interview With Strawberry Singh Part 3 – The Return Of The Singh

I’m sat opposite Strawberry Singh still, which is quite impressive as she’s already revealed she has made deals with the devil and at times looks like she’s going to call up an army of demons. However she had made me a couple of nice cups of tea, so I think she may be softening, or maybe she’s poisoning me … hmmmmm. I return to the interview and decide it’s time to go for the hard questions, who is Berry’s favourite supplier of poses? She dodges this well, extremely well:

Oooohhhh, you’re gonna get me in trouble. 😛 I love sooooo many posers, it’s hard to choose just one. I am a bit biased when I say Diesel Works as I work for him but if you look at my blog, I have been using his poses since 2009 and loved them since then. I also love Exposeur, she makes awesome couples poses. I loved Adorkable Poses for her adorable props (not sure if she’s in SL anymore though) Long Awkward Pose was and always will be my forever favorite. She’s no longer in SL but I still till this day use her poses. Some other posers that I love are Di’s Opera, oOo Studio, Del May, Lost Angel, and so many others that I can’t really remember off the top of my head.

Now for the big question, what inspires her, after a short pause Berry replies:

Ahhhh so many things: love, family, friends, nature (these are mostly in RL). In SL I get inspired for pictures just by some of the content that creators make. Some people are so incredibly talented and you just want to dive right into their work and get lost in it.

I move on to art, which confuses Berry somewhat as she denies being an artist “I just see myself as a blogger/photographer that likes to ramble on her blog.” she tells me, but I persevere, does she enjoy the art of other Second Life users?

Absolutely, I love it and get inspired by it often. In my earlier years of SL I used to go to a lot of the art galleries and showings they used to have. There was a much smaller sl flickr community back then so everyone knew everyone else and we’d all show up at all the galleries together. Now I can’t really keep track of what’s going, which is a shame. So now I just enjoy people’s work on flickr whenever I get the chance.

I think, therefore I blog!

I’m on a roll now and Berry looks calm, how about Second Life? What sort of artists float Berry’s boat?

I am a big Dali fan, ok fine I admit to being totally twisted. 😛 There’s a Dali museum a few hours away from me and I admit to visiting it often. I also have a bit of a Klimt collection, tree of life makes me happy.

Now that I’ve softened her up somewhat I can move on to the issue of touching up Second Life images outside of Second Life, what are Berry’s tools of the trade?

I use Photoshop mainly and sometimes I use Picmonkey.com. I feel like a dork just saying that, lol.

The Haunted

I feel empowered and turn to Flickr, where Berry is certainly popular, what are the positivies and negatives of posting work on Flickr I ask. Berry smiles sweetly, almost too sweetly and replies:

The big positive for me is that I have this wonderful timeline of my SLife on there now since I’ve been posting pictures from 2007 onwards. My whole SLife is sort of documented over there, friendships, relationships, loves, work, fun, exploration, adventure. Everything is there. Especially in the earlier years, I was a bit more less structured with what I shared there. It was all carefree and fun posting. Now it’s a bit more organized blog pics, etc… but still, it’s great to look back and see how much I’ve gone through and also grown as a person and also in my photography skills. The only negatives I can see is sometimes I see some drama between flickr people, but I ignore it so it doesn’t really affect me any.

The words of my Chief Elf are still ringing in my ears “Beware of the serpent“, but I can’t help myself and I ask why, when I was logged on to Flickr yesterday, was I greeted with naked pictures of Strawberry Singh with a serpent wrapped around her. Berry’s glare makes me believe I may have made a mistake:

I have no idea what you’re talking about, I am NEVER EVER naked! EVER! 😛

She rises from her seat and suddenly, I’m surrounded by water, she approaches me smiling.

water drops

GIVE ME THE RING” she commands. I shudder, my Chief Elf was right, beware of the serpent, the serpent has unleashed the beast, before me Berry flickers between bikini clad and more sinister looking.

I'm feeling so exotic...

Did you think I brought you here for an interview? You fool, the ring, hand it over!

How could I have been so foolish and now I’m feeling drowsy, the tea, omg she poisoned the tea. She approaches me “Don’t make me seduce you” she says huskily and suddenly a bed appears in the room. I’m in a state of panic now and without thinking things through I slip the ring on and much to my relief I see this:

PG Sex Bed In Action

I can hear her shouts from within and I’m relieved that this is a general rated blog, goodness knows what would have happened if I had mature content here. However seeing my window of opportunity for escape I teleport home, it’s then that I realise that at no point did Berry give me a SLURL, now that’s spooky!
