An Image Should Be Here

The Literary Festival (LitFest) will celebrate its fifth anniversary at this year’s Fantasy Faire 2019 and this year, the event will have a decidedly science fiction, as well as fantasy element.

Wednesday April 24th will be Ursula K. Le Guin Day, where LitFest will celebrate Ursula’s work with readings from her work as well as having a ball with a “A Wizard in Earthsea Party: The LitFest Ball”.

I will provide more details on this day when I have more information, but there’s plenty more to see and do at Litfest, including an inworld visit from special guest of honour, multi award winning author Elizabeth Bear.

Elizabeth Bear is scheduled to make two visits to Second Life for Fantasy Faire. Elizabeth will first visit Second Life on Tuesday, April 23rd at 2:00pm to be interviewed.

Elizabeth is scheduled to visit Second Life again on Friday, April 26th at 2:00pm, where Elizabeth is set to perform a reading of her works.

There’s plenty more going on at Litfest during Fantasy Faire too including poetry, readings, story telling, discussion and of course Seanchai Library will have a presence where they will exemplify the excellent work they do with storytelling in virtual worlds all year round.
