Dwarfins – Fussy Mating Habits And Job Opportunities

Dwarfins, the Second Life breedables game where you breed Dwarfins, seems to be going along very well with the creators seeking staff to help them support the product. The thing with Dwarfins is that they are very fussy when it comes to mating. I mean when they mate, they don’t do any naughty business, they just create a birth rock together but even then, they are fussy about whom they will create a birth rock with.

They won’t mate with anyone they’re related to and they will only mate with someone of the opposite sex, which leads to situations such as those in the image below when you make the wrong selections:

However when you do choose the right mate, and only a female Dwarfin gets to make the choice, flirting does happen:

Now everyone is happy! The Dwarfins inworld chat is usually peaceful and doesn’t get too complicated, other than the odd person asking to trade, which isn’t allowed in the official chat, trading is ok but outside of that group. However customer support is needed and that’s why they are currently advertising jobs.

Dwarfins Gold Hits The Grid

The creators of Dwarfins, the breedable game, have announced in a blog post that certain items in their store can now be purchased with Dwarfins Gold. The items where Dwarfins Gold is applicable will have a Dwarfins Gold icon on them and when you want to purchase such an item, you will have a choice of purchasing with Dwarfins Gold or Linden Dollars.

To accumulate Dwarfins Gold you will have to return your Dwarfin, which removes it from the world. Any Gold that the returned Dwarfin has acquired whilst mining, or even the default 10 Gold they come with, will then be credited to your Dwarfins account and when you have accumulated enough, you can use this Gold for certain purchases.

Dwarfins Creators Unleash Dwarfins Avatars

The creators of Dwarfins, the breedable game, have unleashed some avatars to accompany their breedable Dwarfins, so that you too can look like a Dwarfin! This has manay advantages, some of which I’ll get to later. The avatars are rigged mesh and come in three styles for males and three styles for females. The styles are Peasant, Farmer or Viking, which are the traits of the breedable version of Dwarfins.

Each style comes with a choice of four outfits, eye colours, hair colours, skin colours and if you’re a male, beards, female Dwarfins don’t have beards, they do however have chestpieces! There’s also a weapon!

Dwarfins At RFL One Of A Kind Breedable Auction

I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned Dwarfins before, I may have talked of their drinking of mead and bawdiness, I may have mentioned that they’ve escaped their cave, I may have mentioned that two of the creators were interviewed by Prim Perfect … but besides that I’ve hardly said a word about Dwarfins and I currently have eleven of them on the go, ten purchased and one born! However, besides that I haven’t talked much about them, it’s not like I’m addicted or anything like that!

Anyway, Dwarfins are at the Xmas Expo, which is a promotion for Relay For Life and therefore a good cause. Dwarfins will be participating in the one of a kind breedables auction, and I’m going to bring you details of that tonight! Hurrah! Here’s an edited copy of the inworld notecard:

Dwarfins Creators Talk To Prim Perfect

Cinders Vale this evening interviewed Dwarfins project manager Judy Chestnut and texture artist Jaimy Hancroft for prim perfect at the Xmas expo.

They talked of how Dwarfins came to be, how they recruited texture artist Jaimy Hancroft, who described herself as a blood and guts artist generally and how the Dwarfins will evolve with more tasks as the project grows.
