Cinders Vale this evening interviewed Dwarfins project manager Judy Chestnut and texture artist Jaimy Hancroft for prim perfect at the Xmas expo.

They talked of how Dwarfins came to be, how they recruited texture artist Jaimy Hancroft, who described herself as a blood and guts artist generally and how the Dwarfins will evolve with more tasks as the project grows.

The team were excited about the release and looking forward to further developing the storyline, with hints that we will hear more from Andronicus and Chelios, the michievous gods who brought Dwarfins into existence.

Judy explained how she is less of a creative type, but demonstrated her skills for project management throughout the interview.

Jaimy, who admitted she has poor eyesight, has done a fabulous job in texturing the Dwarfins, admittedly I have purchased a couple, so I may be biased but they look good to me. I may mate them but we’ll see! The Dwarfins I mean, not Jaimy and Judy!

One interesting concept is that there were hints that the dwarfins may build their own builds, which will be interesting if it works, we’ll have to see what happens with regards to that. There was also talk of a Dwarfin village being built too.

In my previous post I mentioned that I was confused as to what could be done with the gold, and apparently you will be able to buy many items from the Dwarfins store with Dwarfin gold instead of Linden dollars, not all items will be able to be purchased this way but plenty of them.

One question that arose was why weren’t all these additional features included from the start and the answer was, that this is planned. So I guess what we’re really seeing is Dwarfins evolving, learning new skills and as the storyline progresses, the Dwarfins will be able to carry out more tasks. The developers are giving themselves scope to develop this and that sounds like a fine plan to me.
