Today I’ve been visiting the sims that I haven’t been to, which were the following (Links are SLURLS)
Today was also the day on which monies raised by Fantasy Faire 2011 for Relay went over the four million Linden Dollars mark. Below the cut I have some pictures …. yes this could get like showing someone your holiday snaps!
Dark Mirage is very very impressive, although I’m biased as I like this sort of stuff. When you land you’re near the Looking Glass building:
If you turn all the way round you’ll see a bridge and Loc Nar Tower which glows and has at its heart an orb:
Then if you leave the tower and look back to town, you have yourself a quite spectacular view:
The Enchanted Mysts sim has more of a creepy feel to it, burning statues, a more gothic like theme, shadows and of course stores, one of which is the Earendilia Store:
Now I can’t remember where I saw this Tree:
The Exotic Worlds Sim is full of rich vegetation:
This includes Toadstools:
The Forest of Light sim is, as you’d probably expect, full of forest and light:
The buildings here again meet with my approval, as exemplified by The Tribal Soul Store:
The Sea of Mer, as well as having stores above land, also encourages you to go underwater, where you’ll find Stores and life:
Whilst I was travelling around the sims, entertainment was in full swing, Keeba Tammas was singing on the events stage:
Keeba’s act ended with the news that over four million Linden Dollars had been raised so far by Fantasay Faire 2011 and she was followed by DJ Gabriele Riel:
Another thing about Fantasy Faire is that you find things worth looking at everywhere, if you haven’t been you really should at least pop in to see what can be done with Second Life, I’ll leave you with pics of a mermaid statue and a Centaur statue:
