Whilst reading last week’s Highlights from The Second Life Destination Guide I noticed a place called Plagues of Egypt. The blurb informs us :
Explore this Egyptian-themed build representing the Egyptian plagues circa Moses and the 10 Commandments.
So I decided to go and take a look.
The location is a parcel named Xiao Tiangang on a region called Devils Mind. This is certainly an atmospheric parcel and I found myself sliding my feet on the street, bending my back, shifting my arm and then pulling it back.
Whereas this isn’t a super large parcel, it is an interesting one that makes good use of the space. There’s wildlife in the shape of Nile Crocodiles as well as frogs and as you would expect, statues, artefacts and more. There’s also of course, a pyramid too.
I took a few snapshots and finally decided it was getting late, so I decided it was time to take just one more to this desolate shore.
Looking at my sundial I estimated that by now it must be just gone noon half past monsoon and that if I wasn’t careful, I would miss the night boat to Cairo.
If you’re a fan of ancient Egypt, this is an interesting parcel to explore but if this isn’t your sort of thing, there’s plenty more exploration to be had by way of the official Second Life Destination Guide.
