Duran Duran, today released their 14th studio album; Paper Gods. To celebrate the release of the album there will be an album release party in Second Life tomorrow, Saturday 12th September at 1pm Pacific time. I have no idea why Pacific time is being listed for this event instead of SLT, by my reckoning they equate to the same time. Please note that there is apparently a dress code for this party :

The party itself has been organised by those who officially represent Duran Duran in Second Life.
Duran Duran, it should be noted, have a whole section of the Second Life Destination Guide dedicated to them, which includes a number of locations on neighbouring sims.
The locations include a sushi bar, a club where you can dance to your favourite Duran Duran tracks and a cable car that will take you on a tour of the locations.
Other attractions include an eye shaped cinema where you can watch Duran Duran videos and secret rehearsal rooms with each of the main members of the band having a dressing room with their name on. There are plenty of attractions and plenty to see and do.
I’m not sure how much time, if any, members of Duran Duran have ever spent in Second Life but the virtual world should certainly hold no fears for drummer Roger Taylor, if you were brought up in Shard End even Ahern in Second Life would be a walk in the park!
The release party, as I mentioned earlier, takes place at 1pm Pacific time on Saturday September 12th.

Created Reality, interesting variation. There are some interesting claims being made here, some I suspect are general legal requirements that they need to claim but some seem to be a tad more ambitious, such as the fictional dollar denominated credit card.
