Cerridwen’s Cauldron is rather an odd sim in many ways. There are attractions here, such as :
- Tower Of Dawn
- Botanical Garden Display
- Aquarium
- Lost Halls
The latter gives a clue as to what makes this sim rather odd. The Lost Halls contain vendors, selling the wares in this wonderful region. The way the store blends so well with the setting is what makes this region a tad odd, for all the right reasons I should add, you don’t feel like you’re in a store, but you do appreciate the work of the creator and can find that work easily if you want to take some of it home with you.
The land description describes the region as :
Fantasy plants, trees and flowers, avatars and buildings. Main Shop, Gallery and Landscaped Sim. Relaxing, exotic and beautifull. Non-disruptive RP, daters and photographers welcome. Home of the grid famous fantasy plants.
This is very true as this region of wonderfully exotic plant life in a fantastical setting is indeed ideal as a store, a roleplay area, ideal for daters and almost perfect for photographers.
The region is the work of Elicio Ember and it’s breathtakingly eye-catching. This is also a region that is relatively easy to navigate.
One tip, if you do visit the default region windlight is ideal for viewing the region. There’s a lot of life and a lot of light in those plants. Alas this isn’t portrayed well on my PC when it comes to taking snapshots, so I had to use lighter windlight settings than I would have liked for my snapshots.
This is something that is really best seen for yourself.

Your photos are absolutely stunning, Ciaran! Thank you so much for including the SLURL as well; as a new/old Second Life explorer, I can’t wait to check this place out. 🙂
Thank you, always nice to hear from a fellow explorer 🙂
Thanks so much for the beautiful post Ciaran! I am currently working on a new ground-level landscape, so feel free to visit anytime. Its going to be an open work-process, so people will be able to see how the landscape evolves. Right now its just bare basaltic cliffs and columnar basalt. Feel welcome anytime!
