Dwarfins, the breedable game involving Dwarf like Dwarfins, have released an eternal altar which means you can keep your most treasured Dwarfins around until infinity and beyond …. or something like that.
A blog post explaining how this works has appeared on The Dwarfins Website. An eternal Dwarfin has pro’s and cons. The pro’s:
- Never has to eat again.
- Does not age.
- Still interacts with our Interactive objects.
- Still animates, walks around, etc.
- Will give you all its gold before becoming Eternal.
However an eternal Dwarfin isn’t as capable as a mortal Dwarfin.
There are some cons, but personally I think it’s a fair trade off, you shouldn’t expect a fully functional Dwarfin that doesn’t age or need to eat! The cons are:
- Cannot Mine or Read.
- Does not create new Dwarfins.
Therefore an eternal Dwarfin won’t have any new children or generate new skills, but they can hang around, which has advantages as I’m considering setting up my Dwarfins of Ciaran and Jezebel as the landlord and landlady of The Dwarf Inn on my land!
Now the Dwarfins eternal avatar is not free, it will cost you 500 Linden Dollars per Dwarfin, but it’s a nice touch and you still get your Dwarfin Gold, which you can use in the Dwarfins store.
