When Second Life turned three, Torley took the above photo, it shows Philip Rosedale, founder of Linden Lab, in his iconic avatar.
Moving on far more years than most of us want to admit, Philip Rosedale can be found in High Fidelity, looking much more like Philip Rosedale does outside the virtual world. In the below image, Philip is on the left side of the stage talking to Kent Bye of Voices of VR Podcast.
The video of that chat can be found here by the way, it was a fascinating and very interesting discussion, if you have time I definitely recommend that you watch it.
Getting back to Philip’s iconic avatar, it turns out that old habits, or in this case, avatars, are hard to break. In a tweet in which Philip says he is spending more time in Second Life (and finding it great), Philip also asks if anyone would be willing to recreate his classic avatar.
Would someone be willing to re-make me my original SL avatar? I’ve been spending more time in SL lately (it’s just so amazing and great) and I’d like my old look back. This vintage… pic.twitter.com/9kI2EyufXM

So is there anyone out there who will willing to help recreate the classic, iconic, Philip Rosedale look? Do we want to see the classic, iconic, Philip Rosedale look back in Second Life? I say yes, but then again I’m absolutely useless at making avatars.
So… continuing proof Lindens tend not to learn how to use SL?
I can recall them having a contest to give Philip a makeover back in 2010.
