Roleplay plays an important part of Fantasy Faire and this year is no exception with four groups roleplaying within the Fairelands.
The Neo-Victoria Project are offering dark steampunk roleplay by way of The Sidhe and The Soul-Eater :
Thousands of years past, a sidhe failed in their duty and let a nameless terror into the worlds. It cost them their life, but not their soul. That was put into a mechanical marvel, and so began their long service as a sentinel against the darkness.
But after so long, their mechanical body has begun to fail and that nameless evil escapes its bonds. The automaton sends word to the Sidhe Empire for assistance.

Whereas the roleplay has already begun, you’re not too late if you want to catch up. The next scheduled event is Scene 4 – Battle Against the Soul-Eater and takes place between 6pm-9pm on Wednesday April 27th at The Cathedral on The Serenity region.

Sanctuary are presenting The Rise Of The Blood King :
After a great turmoil in Sanctuary, most hoped that peace would follow and that all would calm down, but a great earthquake ripped through the realm like the very earth was awakening from a long slumber and the skies rained blood as though the heavens were pierced.
The people of Sanctuary knew that no such peace would be in store for them anytime soon …
The next scheduled event takes place on Wednesday 27th April and will help with the first item to stop The Blood King. The event takes place between 2-pm-3pm on the Dangarnon sim.

The Rickety Weasels are presenting The Gloom of Echtra :
Echtra is a land stuck in time where the seasons have ground to a halt. There is no summer nor is there any winter. A grey emptiness has fallen over the once busy land. Legend tells of a great sleeping dragon under the hill and two children, a Prince and Princess, who lie at the source of this terrible curse.
Join the Children of Echtra as they search to uncover the lore that can cure the Gloom of Echtra once and for all.
A hud is available to encourage audience participation. This event is taking place on the Echtra sim.

I met an interesting looking warrior whilst exploring the Echtra experience, alas we didn’t have time to share mead.
Last but not least, The Great Alliance are presenting A Suitor For The Queen :
The land of Twilight Illusions is divided between light and dark, life and death, good and evil. The Dark Prince seeks to take the hand of light Queen in marriage and extend his influence over both lands. In desperation to stop such a diabolical union from taking place, the Queen now uses the opportunity of the Faire and the many nobles it brings to find a suitable suitor to wed before the Dark Prince gets to her first.
However, everything is not as it seems. The Dark Prince is not so naive and will not be bested so easily.
Deception fouls the air of the court, mystery surrounds the many patrons that meddle with one another, and the fate of Twilight Illusion hangs in the balance….
Will you be a suitor? Or will you aid the Dark Prince?

The roleplay will be live and impromptu, you are invited to join in as a visitor from a foreign land. The next scheduled event is The 3rd Challenge: Gifts of Gratitude and will take place today, Tuesday April 26th between 5pm-7pm SLT.
