Rather freakily, as I was getting this image of the Isle Of Dee before the storm caused by the tier monster sunk the island, “We’ll Meet Again” started playing on the stream from the machinima expo. Which is very fitting because for many of the evacuees from the old Isle Of Dee, they will indeed be meeting again.
The calm before the storm above was soon replaced by Dee sinking beneath the waves, even the Goblin King couldn’t escape the barrage:
The citizens fled, on ships, there are always ships involved. Tales of the adventures that took place on those ships may or may not be told:
Those ships took the hardy citizens to a halfway house but now I’m reliably informed they’ve also found a new place to call home.
The arrival point apparently has all the usual information and this first aid station, which is a useful find for refugees. However the chief Elf and her crew have been extremely busy building and the marketplace is already up, along with the all important roleplay entrance.
The roleplay entrance I’m told, leads one to the bay, where a ship, possibly for the better heeled citizens, or maybe pirates, is anchored:

This is a tale of citizens fighting back in the face of adversity, rather than accepting that the Island was sunk without trace, they banded together, led by Runa The Fierceless Elf they refused to accept the end of their community and battled to find a new home, which they’ve done.
The Lord Of Dee is unfortunately still lost at sea, or has been kidnapped by pirates, or lies in the belly of the beast, or is in the underworld still wrestling with the tier monster maybe, his tale will have to wait for another day.
