I missed the Mad City Blogger preview because I was asleep in bed, even seekers of truth and justice style evil Drow Wizard types need sleep at times and those times often coincide with 2am! However I have been very kindly presented with a press release, which is all about Madpea Productions Mad City! I have also visited the sim today and I must say it is very atmospheric, although there were one or two teething problems, there are plenty of people visiting and they even have their own radio stream!

Mad City is full of dark secrets, eerie builds, mysteries.. and is the home for the famous Silent Peacock Hotel with Room 326.
Yes you read right! We are doing something we have NEVER done before:. Back by popular demand, it’s the Room 326 Hunt, one of our most popular hunts from the past!
The Silent Peacock holds many secrets and the biggest of them all is Room 326. 15 people are missing after spending a night in that room. No one knows what happened to those poor souls, even the local police has been left clueless.
You will take on a role of a private detective and follow clues all over the grid to find out what truly happened.
Room 326 is a shocking murder mystery with a storyline that will leave you breathless!
As well as the grid-wide hunt, Mad City brings your the greatest entertainment, contests, hunts, stores and the madness you have been longing for.

Press release has ended now, as I said the sim is very atmospheric, it has noir feeling to it and to make those of us who live in the UK feel at home, it’s raining there too!
However this venture isn’t just about the game there, there are stores there, which I didn’t realise, so it was honestly completely accidental that whilst I was wearing my Dwarfins Wizard avatar, I found myself outside the Dwarfins store there!
Interesting sim and hopefully I’ll get time to play the hunt … I always run out of time before I play the hunt! This post would have been a lot easier if my home city hadn’t been in the middle of power cut hell too!

You had power cuts as well? Oo-er! We must be closer than we think. Either that or cutbacks mean the entire UK is now powered from a single power station in France.
The Room 326 hunt is fun. Not so much for the prizes, but simply for the hunt itself. I couldn’t resist going over to MadPea City dressed for the part :).
You just loved the excuse to put Traci Bullit on the streets again didnt you!
