On Sunday, as it was a bank holiday Monday, I decided to stay up late and go and watch Tonight Live With Paisley Beebe<\/a>…. well actually I was going to see Tonight Live With Lady Sakai, but Paisley Beebe does the interviews. I hadn’t been to see the inworld chat show for ages, I think Sarah Nerd was being interviewed last time I went, this isn’t because the show is rubbish, it’s actually very well done, but 2am on a Sunday morning isn’t a great time for me, this is 6PM SLT, so for many of you it’s a great time.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I sat at the back and settled down to watch events unfold.<\/p>\n

Maybe it’s just me, but crossed legs poses don’t do my evil drow wizard image a lot of good! Where was I, oh yes, the chat show ….<\/p>\n

First up was music from singer ReggieSunset Rookswood, he was really good, but Paisley soon pinned him down with some questions about music and Reggie explained how he’d sang a long time ago but had been surprised how good an outlet singing was for him in Second Life and how he was surprised at how well received his music was in Second Life, with a nod to realising Second Life attracts a more mature audience.<\/p>\n

I didn’t manage to get any action shots of ReggieSunset singing, I was still finding my way around the studio! That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it. Next up were the dynamic duo from Inworldz, Jim Tarber and Lady Sakai:<\/p>\n

Now not surprisingly, they were enthusiastic about Inworldz, and as\u00a0a fan of virtual worlds I want to see Inworldz do well too but I really haven’t spent enough time there\u00a0to form an opinion on it. However let’s remember that this interview took place in Second Life, so there is potential for cross world promotion, understanding, peace and love!<\/p>\n

Now whilst all these interviews are going on, and Paisley Beebe calmly interviews people, there’s background work going on, SuperDave Spearmann is issuing advice on the show prior to it going on air, with instructions to sit down:<\/p>\n

Whereas Bliss Windlow gets behind the camera to take the shots …. I don’t actually know if this is true, but Bliss was on the inworld camera!<\/p>\n

The only disappointing thing was that I couldn’t find the dunnies to see if there was more graffiti about Paisley Beebe being\u00a0a good root on the walls, as I witnessed on another dunny in Second Life. However on a serious note, if you haven’t been to see this chat show, I’d advise you to give it a go, it’s only an hour or so and it’s good to see what can be achieved inworld with some organisation and lots of effort and it’s good to see new music acts and hear the opinions of residents of Second Life and other worlds.<\/p>\n

However if you do want to go and see the show, the next show, Sunday May 15th, is the last in the current series and it won’t be returning until\u00a0Autumn after that.<\/p>\n
