Linden Lab’s Sansar is gearing up for Halloween with a series of events and prizes, as a blog post by Sansar Jenn reveals;\u00a0October in Sansar is Going to be Scary Good!\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The post informs us of a series of planned events, including :<\/p>\n

A Contest with a Wicked Sweet Prize<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sansar’s Scariest Experiences<\/a> is a competition whereby people can create a brand new Sansar experience in the spirit of Halloween. This competition comes with a very eye catching prize :<\/p>\n

One grand prize winner will receive $10,000 (USD), an Oculus Rift + Touch bundle and a one year Sansar Super Creator Subscription<\/strong>. Three honorable mentions will each each receive a one year Sansar Creator Subscription.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

However if you want to enter time is short, the closing date is October 15th. Click the link earlier in this post for details.<\/p>\n

Other events include Friday 13th at Draxtor Despres 114 Harvest<\/a>. This could be a very scary experience if Draxtor decides to sing the Monster Mesh<\/a>, make sure you bring some Bavarian bread.<\/p>\n

\"Meeting<\/a><\/p>\n

Singing of sorts and live music are also party of the festivities, with\u00a0Karaoke – Sing Bloody Murder on Saturday, October 21st<\/strong>, which will take place at 2pm PT, which is the same as SLT. The event will take place at\u00a0Studio Club – Karaoke & Hang-Out<\/a>. Please note the small print :<\/p>\n

The only catch is – since it\u2019s Halloween – the tune must be in theme with the season. Monster Mash, Purple People Eater, anything that screams HAPPY HALLOWEEN!<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On top of that, Halloween itself will see a performance from well known virtual world performer Oblee at 6pm PT. Location is currently mysteriously unknown.<\/p>\n

Halloween Festival Under the Stars on Friday, October 27th<\/strong><\/p>\n

An autumn fest – complete with spiced cider straight from the cauldron – is in the works at Starry Stars and Stuff. Of course, that means a Blitz Dodge Cannon Ball Tournament is in order. The last Sansarian standing can will earn the claim to fame of being the 1st Blitz Dodge Cannon Ball champion – so come prepared to weave, run, and get ready for fun! Mark your calendars for 10 am (PT) on Friday the 27th of October.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
