As some of you may know, inworld I’m an evil Drow Lord with minions working for me, plotting world domination and fighting the forces of goodness …well that’s not quite the story but don’t believe Tweets from people like Lady Sakai or Constanza Amsterdam who describe me as a sweety! I’m a Lord dammit! Anyway to this end, I’m very interested in the Inworld Fantasy Faire event, it’s also linked to good causes and of course, should be good fun and although it doesn’t start until April, I thought I’d post a heads up now. Although I’m not involved at all in organising this event, I do have notecards and information, so feel free to IM me for the info.<\/p>\n

Friends Fighting Cancer and the American Cancer Society eagerly invite you to participate in the 2011 Fantasy Faire of Second Life, to be held on April 2 – 10, 2011.<\/p>\n

This 9 sim fantasy themed Faire will bring the top Creators from a wide range of fantasy genres together for a week of commerce, events and fundraising to benefit Relay for Life with just 19 Creators per sim. We want to showcase the best in each genre and that\u2019s why we\u2019re contacting you.<\/p>\n

As the third Fantasy Faire of Second Life, Friends Fighting Cancer is projecting an even higher turn-out both for Creators and for visitors. We plan to make it fun and easy for hundreds of people to find you and your products.<\/p>\n

All we require is that you have **at least** two (2) items for sale, preferably four (4), that benefit Relay for Life.\u00a0\u00a0 Friends Fighting Cancer will provide you with the Vendor for these items prior to the set-up dates.<\/p>\n

A group invitation to the ” * * FFC Fantasy Faire 2011 * * ” and information pack will be sent when your application is processed & donation received.\u00a0 Your Liaison will contact you with payment information for the donation as she processes your application.\u00a0 ALL payment is going to a dedicated official Faire treasury account avatar (so do NOT drop payment to anyone else) who will then forward the donation to the RFL. (All transaction histories are available for examination on request and will be sent to RFL.)<\/p>\n

Advertising on a themed sim is $L2000 donation per ad.\u00a0 Only 10 advertising signs are located at the TP entry \/ landing point to each sim (listed below). The sign will be touch enabled to pass over a LM to your business or handout a notecard.<\/p>\n

All textures need to be 512 x 512.<\/p>\n

At the bottom of this notecard is the section for your name and your selection of advertising.\u00a0 Please fill out this notecard and drop it back to KATE SAKAI.\u00a0 To assist with your application please embed a full permission logo and LM as well.<\/p>\n
