{"id":5838,"date":"2017-03-10T20:48:06","date_gmt":"2017-03-10T20:48:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sl.governormarley.com\/?p=5838"},"modified":"2017-03-10T20:48:06","modified_gmt":"2017-03-10T20:48:06","slug":"filling-the-cauldron-a-fundraiser-for-medical-care","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sl.governormarley.com\/?p=5838","title":{"rendered":"Filling The Cauldron &#8211; A Fundraiser For Medical Care"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Health Fundraiser\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ciaran_laval\/32548722273\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/c1.staticflickr.com\/4\/3682\/32548722273_c1e2d3b9f7.jpg?resize=500%2C294&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Health Fundraiser\" width=\"500\" height=\"294\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>I am sure that by now many of you have heard about the stressful situation that Elicio Ember, Second Life creator and owner of Cerridwen&#8217;s Cauldron finds himself in after his father suffered a stroke, if you are unaware of the situation then please read <a href=\"https:\/\/cauldronweb.wordpress.com\/about\/a-letter-from-elicio\/\" target=\"_blank\">Elicio&#8217;s open letter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Elicio and his sister are at this stressful time facing huge medical bills and to aid Elicio the Second Life community are arranging fundraisers as well as an event, <a href=\"https:\/\/cauldronweb.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Filling The Cauldron<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Underwater\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ciaran_laval\/32548718363\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/c1.staticflickr.com\/4\/3726\/32548718363_36e3ff29b6.jpg?resize=500%2C294&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Underwater\" width=\"500\" height=\"294\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Filling The Cauldron will be held at <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.secondlife.com\/secondlife\/Holly%20Kai%20Estates\/227\/81\/22\" target=\"_blank\">Holly Kai Park<\/a> in Second Life and will run from April 1st &#8211; 9th and the agenda as it stands is :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Live music and DJ performances at the park\u2019s main events venue<\/li>\n<li>An art display inspired by Elicio\u2019s work<\/li>\n<li>An auction<\/li>\n<li>A special Design a Garden contest with a very special prize<\/li>\n<li>A photo contest with special prizes<\/li>\n<li>A market area<\/li>\n<li>Cerridwen\u2019s Corner \u2013 a mini-store of Elicio\u2019s creations, allowing you to buy his items and visit his main store.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is still time for you to get involved in this event, <a href=\"https:\/\/cauldronweb.wordpress.com\/applications\/\" target=\"_blank\">applications <\/a>are welcome.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Cerridwens Cauldron\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ciaran_laval\/32548714673\/in\/dateposted-public\/\" data-flickr-embed=\"true\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/c1.staticflickr.com\/1\/735\/32548714673_ba17efa41a.jpg?resize=500%2C294&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Cerridwens Cauldron\" width=\"500\" height=\"294\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>At this moment in time applications are being sought for :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Live performers and DJs willing to give an hour of their time to perform during the weekends of Saturday April 1st \/ Sunday April 2nd and Friday April 7th through Sunday April 9th \u2013 and perhaps in the week as well. If you are interested, please complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/cauldronweb.wordpress.com\/applications\/stirring-the-cauldron-entertainment-application-form\/\" target=\"_blank\">Entertainment Applications form<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Artists wishing to participate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/cauldronweb.wordpress.com\/applications\/stirring-the-cauldron-art-show-and-auction\/\" target=\"_blank\">Art Show<\/a><\/li>\n<li>People willing to donate to the <a href=\"https:\/\/cauldronweb.wordpress.com\/applications\/silent-auction\/\" target=\"_blank\">Auction<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Creators willing to take part in the <a href=\"https:\/\/cauldronweb.wordpress.com\/applications\/stirring-the-cauldron-marketplace-application\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marketplace<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Designers wishing to participate on the Filling the Cauldron <a href=\"https:\/\/cauldronweb.wordpress.com\/applications\/sitting-the-cauldron-design-a-garden-contest\/\" target=\"_blank\">Garden Design Contest<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cauldronweb.wordpress.com\/applications\/volunteer-application-form\/\" target=\"_blank\">Volunteers and helpers<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Whereas the event starts on April 1st, due to the nature of organising events such as this, applications need to be in early.
