\"Dwarfins\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I remember the day well, I was walking around the Christmas Expo back in December 2012<\/a> when I stumbled across a store called Dwarfins. The store was full of, well, Dwarfins and I totally fell head over heels for these little creatures. Breedables were all the rage in Second Life and here was another one, but in such a fantasy form they turned my head.<\/p>\n

This week the unfortunate news has been brought to my attention, Dwarfins will be closing this month<\/a>. Judy Chestnut has announced :<\/p>\n

We are sad to announce that Dwarfins is closing their doors.<\/em><\/p>\n

For the past 3 1\/2 years we have loved growing the Dwarfins game with all of you and we will miss you and the Dwarfins tremendously, but have found that we no longer have the time to put into their development that they deserve.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I have had many an adventure as a Dwarfin and will hopefully continue to have many more, despite the closure. I’ve been to bars.<\/p>\n

I have been\u00a0to birthday celebrations :<\/p>\n

\"Bear<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Dwarfins<\/a><\/p>\n

I have witnessed magic :<\/p>\n

\"Dwarfins<\/a><\/p>\n

I have hitched a lift on magical beasts :<\/p>\n

\"Hitching<\/a><\/p>\n

I have had strange encounters :<\/p>\n

\"Converstation\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I have even been on the campaign trail :<\/p>\n

\"Discussing<\/a><\/p>\n

Dante Spectre and Judy Chestnut created something magical and have over the last few years put in a lot of time, money and hard work to help to create that magic.<\/p>\n

\"Dante<\/a><\/p>\n

Judy and Dante were supported by Jaimy Hancroft and a host of community staff who helped to keep this venture going and I would like to thank them all, wholeheartedly, for bringing this venture to Second Life.<\/p>\n

Whereas I have not engaged with Dwarfins as much as I did in their first couple of years, I have always enjoyed seeing them around, visiting their store and taking photos of my avatars.<\/p>\n

I wish Judy and Dante all the best going forward and would once again like to say to them, thank you, thank you for allowing me to experience these wonderful and fantastical Dwarfins, without their hard work I would not have been able to experience anywhere near so many wonderful adventures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
