\"Elves<\/a><\/p>\n

SL12B, like previous Second Life birthday celebrations, is in many ways an odd event. Odd, because unlike many events, the main focus at SL12B is on entertainment and discussion, that’s what most blog posts will be covering and that’s understandable because there’s a hell of a lot of entertainment and discussion.<\/p>\n

However one should not forget about The Exhibitors<\/a>. That link takes you to a list of exhibitors, there are a lot of them. The exhibitors are worth visiting because they demonstrate beautifully the wide array of creativity and interests that make up Second Life.<\/p>\n

Whereas my exhibitor visits may seem a little narrow, and largely fantasy based, I am looking at other exhibits, honest! I mean I could not spend all day on Serina Juran’s Elven circle wondering if the gifts are a trap!<\/p>\n

\"Medieval<\/a><\/p>\n

No, I moved on to my chief Elf’s exhibit for The Medieval Grid Crier, where you will find lots of information about medieval fantasy roleplay in Second Life.<\/p>\n

\"Dreams<\/a><\/p>\n

That’s not all though, looking further afield I was able to enjoy\u00a0AineMari Flanagan’s Dreams and Wishes exhibit, ok ok yes there are fantasy themes here too and it’s no coincidence that these themes catch my eye, but for your eye, there’s a vast array of choice.<\/p>\n

A lot of hard work goes into these exhibits and they help you find other interests in Second Life, for example not far from AineMari’s exhibit there is an exhibit by\u00a0H0neyHeart Resident promoting dressage in Second Life. I didn’t know that people engaged with dressage in Second Life and these are the sort of little gems that you discover by exploring the exhibits.<\/p>\n

I’ll blog later about music and entertainment and if you want to meet a Linden today then you should pop along to the Auditorium<\/a> at 1pm SLT where you will get two Lindens for the price of one, Patch and Dee Linden will be there.<\/p>\n

SL12B is a voyage of discovery in many ways, so really, explore whilst you can.<\/p>\n
