\"Skyeridge<\/a><\/p>\n

The Nature and Parks<\/a> section of The Destination Guide is always makes for interesting viewing and it was there that I found Skyeridge Parkway Mountain Retreat<\/a>. The location is inspired by The Blue Ridge mountains in the United States Of America and provides some extremely scenic views.<\/p>\n

There’s a road winding around the sim that climbs to the higher reaches, or if prefer rail travel there’s a rail carriage that runs alongside the road.<\/p>\n

\"Jazz<\/a><\/p>\n

There’s also a social side to the region with a bar that has a flashing sign advertising Jazz, although I do not know if Jazz is actually performed here.<\/p>\n

\"Windmill\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This is also advertised as a retreat, aimed at couples, who may want to rent a cabin or explore the region.\u00a0It’s not hard to imagine a couple exploring the sim, in the pale moonshine our hearts entwine, where she carved her name and I carved mine<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"Petrol<\/a><\/p>\n

The Blue Ridge Mountains in the USA cover a large area in the USA, a representation in Second Life therefore can’t capture the whole thing. I did wonder if I was in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, where therefore I’d be on the trail of the lonesome pine. However I could find no sign of the trail of the lonesome pine, alas.<\/p>\n
