The moment\u00a0I’ve been waiting for … and some of you, has arrived. Fantasy Faire 2015<\/a> is open to all and sundry, including Halflings and Elves. This wasn’t my decision by the way, don’t blame me!<\/p>\n

The Fairelands are awash with all manner of beings, to such an extent that some of the sims are full. However fear not, there are thirteen sims available, if you count Ravenshold, which will be hosting the second part of the hunt.<\/p>\n

Xiola Linden has been in on the act, blogging about\u00a0Fantasy Faire – to Benefit Relay for Life of Second Life<\/a>. Xiola’s blog post is important because it contains some top tips, such as :<\/p>\n

Start planning your adventure by visiting the full calendar of events<\/a>, dust off your \u201cbag of holding\u201d for all of the great finds you will walk off with, and come shop for a great cause.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The offiical Fantasy Faire website also has a very good blog post about the opening of The Faire : Welcome To The Fairelands!<\/a><\/p>\n

The portals to the Fairelands are now open, the camouflage enchantments dispelled, the whole continent of fantasy worlds awaits visitors to come and explore, enjoy and perhaps shapeshift into one of the Faire Folk.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This post is worth reading because it gives you some insight into the regions that make up The Fairelands.<\/p>\n

However what about Events? Well the kind folk over at the official Fantasy Faire blog post have also been on the ball there too : Faire Events<\/a>. This post, not surprisingly, covers planned Faire events.<\/p>\n

There are various events planned for this year, including, DJ’s, Live Music, a literary festival, dance and particle shows, a hunt, Jail and Bail, Auctions, Pratchett Day, Competitions and much much more.<\/p>\n

I’m also expecting Orcs! I keep telling people, save The Orcs, Save The Virtual World.<\/p>\n

Fantasy Faire 2015 will be running until May 3rd, I’ll be there for most of it … look I’ve already apologised about this, there will be a lot of Fantasy Faire talk here for a while yet.<\/p>\n
