That post itself links to one from Eddi Haskell :\u00a0<a title=\"Eddi Haskell Post\" href=\"http:\/\/eddihaskell.blogspot.co.uk\/2015\/02\/great-second-life-destinations-haveit.html\" target=\"_blank\">Great Second Life Destinations: Haveit Neox&#8217;s Gorgeous New Masterwork- In The Hall Of The Centaurs<\/a> :<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>Havit Neox, one of Second Life&#8217;s most famous architects, builds fanciful structures and entire cities that employ a wide range of architectural effects. His latest creation, In The Hall of the Centaurs at Second Life&#8217;s famous Verdigris City, is another jewel in his crown and a must-see destination.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hmm, I thought, I better go and see what all the fuss is about. So I did, and the fuss is most certainly worth it, not just for the Hall Of Centaurs, but for the whole sim of Verdigris itself.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Centaur Hall by Ciaran Laval, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ciaran_laval\/15978608304\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8586\/15978608304_40cf4d7637.jpg?resize=500%2C277&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Centaur Hall\" width=\"500\" height=\"277\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Centaur Hall lies on one side of a wooden bridge suspended in the sky and it offers some spectacular views. The building itself is stunning but the design and artwork inside is very much a joy to behold.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Entrance To Centaur Hall by Ciaran Laval, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ciaran_laval\/16416229239\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7286\/16416229239_ee67b598ba.jpg?resize=500%2C277&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Entrance To Centaur Hall\" width=\"500\" height=\"277\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is, as one would expect, a distinct mystical feel to the surroundings, both inside and outside of the Centaur Hall.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Inside Centaur Hall by Ciaran Laval, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ciaran_laval\/15979903874\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8668\/15979903874_7e96d20783.jpg?resize=500%2C277&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Inside Centaur Hall\" width=\"500\" height=\"277\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Inside the hall we see use of flames, don&#8217;t worry, they won&#8217;t harm you and the statues won&#8217;t get destroyed by the fire.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Side Of Centaur Hall by Ciaran Laval, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ciaran_laval\/16600897961\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8654\/16600897961_c78dcb1775.jpg?resize=500%2C277&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Side Of Centaur Hall\" width=\"500\" height=\"277\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The side of the hall has a more modern feel, almost like a seaside pier and to add to that feeling, there are telescopes at the end which look across the sim towards the beautiful Vintage Village which lies at the other end of the wooden bridge.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Vintage Building by Ciaran Laval, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ciaran_laval\/16415088048\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8626\/16415088048_6db1dc5f36.jpg?resize=500%2C277&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Vintage Building\" width=\"500\" height=\"277\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is a place where one may want to spend a lot of time. There are some stores here, there are also spaces for rent. The builds are very atmospheric and paint Second Life in a very good light.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Antiques &amp; Curiousities by Ciaran Laval, on Flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/ciaran_laval\/16415087728\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7287\/16415087728_0df81154cf.jpg?resize=500%2C277&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Antiques &amp; Curiousities\" width=\"500\" height=\"277\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are antiques &amp; curiosities too. The streets are quite narrow. A point to note here is that I took my snapshots using [Tor] Midday &#8211; Vintage Village. In his blog post Eddi Haskell points out that there is a Verdigris windlight setting. This gives more atmospheric results.
