Linden Lab have decided that Friday the 13th shall be a day of love this year, with a blog post of Valentine’s Day fun :\u00a0Valentine\u2019s Day Fun on the Isle of View – February 13th!<\/a>\u00a0Rumours that there will be camping and a host called Jason have been strenuously denied. Indeed Gray Of The Lab from San Francisco almost told me :<\/p>\n

Love is in the air,\u00a0Everywhere I look around,\u00a0Love is in the air,\u00a0Every sight and every sound.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The blog post informs us :<\/p>\n

Come to the Isle of View on February 13th for some Pre-Valentine\u2019s Day fun. Meet up with other Residents and enjoy all the romance that Isle of View has to offer – boat rides, fireworks, kissing booths – a treasure trove of memorable moments just waiting to be made with someone special.<\/em><\/p>\n

Why February 13th? Because we believe in love, and there is still time to find a special someone for the big day.<\/em><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve got a Valentine – bring them to the Isle of View.<\/em><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re currently looking for a Valentine – come to the Isle of View.<\/em><\/p>\n

However I’m not actually buying their reasons for Friday being the day and a more realistic explanation is that :<\/p>\n

The Isle Of View it has to be said is pink, very pink, with a hint of red.<\/p>\n

There are benches and lights. Places to sit, places to stand and adverts for The Valentine’s Day Marketplace.<\/p>\n

There are new folk to meet, these bears weren’t too talkative mind you. I’m not sure if they were waiting for porridge or if they had never seen a Dwarfin before. I did try and lighten the mood with song :<\/p>\n

\nAll these years and no one heard<\/em>
\nI’ll show you in spring<\/em>
\nIt’s a treacherous thing<\/em>
\nWe missed you hissed the lovecats<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

However, no dice. I think I need new after shave.<\/p>\n

For those who don’t want to walk, you can travel around the Isle in a Swan that doubles as a boat.<\/p>\n

\"Kiss<\/a><\/p>\n

If you do go, beware of Dwarfins hanging outside of kissing booths, they may well be armed and dangerous or wearing a Kiss Me Quick hat. Remember to pay a visit tomorrow!<\/p>\n
