Linden Lab’s latest venture in providing attractions for Second Life residents comes in the shape and form of a Winter Wonderland<\/a> that offers snowy views, ice skating, gifts, a ferris wheel, a snowmobile and most importantly of all, a snowball fight arena which you may want to get yourself along to in order to practice before tomorrow’s snowball fight with The Lindens!<\/p>\n

Oh I should also mention there’s \u00a0photo contest. Linden Lab blogged this information yesterday :\u00a0Join a Snowball Fight with Lindens & Enter Our Photo Booth Fun Contest<\/a>. Budding Second Life photographers may want to know that the contest offers the opportunity to win L$10,000 :<\/p>\n

PHOTO BOOTH FUN CONTEST<\/em>
\nShare your silly photo booth style pictures with us for a chance to win L$10,000, L$5,000, L$3,000, or L$1,000 for your snapshot! Props encouraged! Winners will be selected by a panel consisting of both Lindens and Residents.<\/em><\/p>\n

I didn’t even know Second Life had a Pinterest page! Now when it comes to a photo contest in Second Life my first port of call would be to beg Strawberry Singh<\/a> for assitance, however I can see she’s way ahead of me and off gallivanting around with Xiola Linden already!<\/p>\n

As for the rules of the contest, there’s a twisty turny path to find them but if you can’t find them, here’s a shortcut<\/a>. The contest has a deadline of March 4th, so there’s plenty of time to enter, or beg Strawberry Singh for assistance. Here’s the gist of it :<\/p>\n

1. DURATION<\/strong>. The Contest begins at 10:00am PST February 4, 2015 (the \u201cStart Date\u201d) and ends on 10:00am PST March 4, 2015 (the \u201cDeadline\u201d).<\/em><\/p>\n

2. ENTRY<\/strong>. Participants must have active Second Life\u00ae accounts prior to their participation in the Contest.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Contest is looking for images of Second Life avatars in a Photo Booth type scenario (actual booth not necessary)(the \u201cPhoto Booth Fun\u201d). Solo and group images are welcome, and silly costume props are encouraged. To create an entry, entrants must:<\/em><\/p>\n
