Never fear, there’s plenty of other events to attend in Second Life and a great place to start looking is the Second Life Destination Guide<\/a> where you\u00a0should most definitely keep an eye on Editor’s Picks, Winter Attractions and Featured Events.<\/p>\n However, something else you should most definitely keep your eye out for is the SL Christmas Expo<\/a> 2014, which opens its doors to the public tomorrow.<\/p>\n This is an event that is dear to my heart because back in 2012, it’s the place where I discovered The Dwarfins!<\/p>\n The expo also held discussion panels, where creators talked to in front of a live studio audience.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Then of course there was the live music entertainment.<\/p>\n This year’s expo has a packed events schedule<\/a> too, with live music, DJ’s, building classes, auctions and much more planned. This annual holiday event is in support of Relay For Life of Second Life, an official charity of the American Cancer Society.<\/p>\n This year\u2019s event is in the style of a Germanic Holiday Winter Village and spans eight sims! Visitors and guests will be able to shop for holiday gifts from over 100 Second Life creators and designers, take photographs with Santa, participate in Naughty Or Nice, and Hunt for the Bells! In addition to the mentioned events, 12 fun and packed full days of entertainment awaits!<\/p>\n The 2014 Winter Beedables Fair will feature a special One of a Kind Breedables Auction and Limited Edition Breedables for sale and in support of Relay For Life of Second Life! Best of Second Life (BOSL) Magazine Cover Live Auction<\/strong> \u2013 this special live auction will take place on December 6, 2014 at 1pm slt. You will have a chance to bid and win a chance to have yourself or brand on the cover of Best of Second Life\u2019s March 2015 magazine cover! 100% of the proceeds will go to Relay For Life of Second Life.<\/p>\n Best of Second Life (BOSL) Miss Virtual World Gowns Raffles<\/strong> \u2013 these special raffles will feature the one of a kind gowns, which are worn by the current Miss Virtual World contestants. Volunteers form or join teams to have fun while fundraising and raise awareness from mid-March through mid-July. In July teams build campsites and walk a track that spans more than 40 virtual regions.<\/p>\n In 2014, Relay For Life of Second Life reached a milestone of having raised $2,500,000 since its fundraising beginning in 2004, for the American Cancer Society.
