On September 13th 2012 Salazar Jack went missing after an accident in the Forest Of Kahruvel. This is documented on the Kahruvel website<\/a> as well as a further update on the Poultry Report from December 2013 where we are told that Osprey Therian went looking for Salazar Jack<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mysterious communications have been appearing on Twitter recently<\/a>, so I decided to take a look and started my investigation at the location of the last known sighting of Salazar Jack. However all I really found was a stone pillar with a stickman adorned upon it. I decided to work backwards, indeed I went a long way back. I went to the birth place of Salazar Jack, Nova Albion.<\/p>\n

\"Nova<\/a><\/p>\n

The lands of Nova Albion were discovered by Magellan Linden<\/a> back in 2004 and it does in places have a feel of a land that time forgot. Nova Albion is a set of city sims, Grignano, Miramere, Sistiana and Barcola. Bay City, which was discovered later, is not that far away.<\/p>\n

There’s a definite nostalgia to the place, there s a display board featuring videos from Torley. There is a resident advertising board and there’s even a prim from Blondin advertising the showcase, which morphed into the Destination Guide.<\/p>\n

You definitely get a city feel in Nova Albion, it’s a place that has life even when there does not seem to be anybody else around. There’s a theatre, a cafe and even a bar, alongside shops and other buildings.<\/p>\n

You can’t help but wonder whether the bar was there when Magellan Linden discovered these lands, especially when you take into account Magellan’s love of fine ales. Then there is the trolley bus, which will lean and slide and carry you around.<\/p>\n

This is a place where you could imagine a caped superhero turning up and not looking out of place. This of course was fortunate for me as I didn’t look out of place as a Dwarf with a big beard. However what of my mission, did I find any clues regarding Salazar Jack? The answer was “no<\/em>” …. ok yes I did enjoy the bar, but that’s not the point!<\/p>\n

This therefore takes me back to Twitter, just under a year ago this strange communication appeared :<\/p>\n
