June 16<\/strong> Grand Opening<\/p>\n June 23<\/strong> Official Birthday<\/p>\n June 23<\/strong> Final day of performances<\/p>\n June 29<\/strong> Sims close to the public<\/p>\n July 1<\/strong> All builds to be dismantled \u2013 sims go offline<\/p>\n Now a really decent community birthday gift from Linden Lab would be to allow the exhibits to stay in place for a month or two, because that would give people plenty of time to get around. I don’t know exactly what the arrangement is between Linden Lab and the organisers but the community website <\/a>tells us:<\/p>\n The SL10B Community Celebration is Second Life\u2019s 10th anniversary resident-run gala celebration, and it happens from June 16 at noon slt to June 29. This year, we have 22 sims cram-packed with art, exhibitions, information, and events<\/em>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Now I’m not saying the events should be extended, just the exhibits. This may not be feasible of course, the organisers may need to remove the builds but personally, I’d find it a really nice touch if Linden Lab could find their way to allowing these sims to stay in place for a month or two.<\/p>\n If you haven’t visited yet, you should and don’t forget that it’s not just exhibits there, there’s quite an epic schedule of events <\/a>too.<\/p>\n
