\"Arcanum<\/a><\/p>\n

Wizadry, that’s right up my street I thought, when I was asked to blog about Zachh Barkley’s The Arcanum, I mean who can resist the temptation to arm themselves with a wand and fire magic at friends and foes …. come on, it can’t just be me!<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

The Arcanum is a place of wonder, situated within the caverns of The Dragonspire at Fantasy Faire 2013, where it’s rumoured Dwarves, Goblins, Drow (that’s me sometimes) and Nixies live … Nixies? Anyway, there’s also rumour of a Dragon and his horde keeping careful watch on the place.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

This is a colourful sim, designed by Khyle Sion and The Arcanum with its magical items fits in perfectly. I wander along, trying to mind my own business, adjusting my wizard hat and see items of the magical variety.<\/p>\n

I notice a Book Of Shadows for witches, which may come in handy when I need to learn what a witch is going to try to do to me. I open the thick heavy book to its first page and begin reading through the dust and wrinkles, admiring the nice handwriting and drawings. I read:\u00a0 “Hello, future Charmed One, Whitelighter, Demon or Darklighter. This is the infamous Book of Shadows. It will be your guide and reference to learning how to control your newfound powers.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

Yikes I think to myself as I close the dusty book. Witches, they get up to all sorts.<\/p>\n

\"Arcanum<\/a><\/p>\n

There are plenty of other items, staffs and wands to tempt the magical purse of many a witch, wizard or even a warlock.<\/p>\n

\"Arcanum<\/a><\/p>\n

This sample of wares has me hooked and I decide I need to investigate further, and head for the teleportation device to take me to the main store.<\/p>\n

\"Arcanum<\/a><\/p>\n

The bulding has the look of a Marcus Inkpen design and is visually stunning, you really need to visit to see how wonderful a build this is with statues, halls, stairs, bookcases and pictures adding to the ambience.<\/p>\n

\"Arcanum<\/a><\/p>\n

Oh and don’t forget the magical wares and supplies available too. Keep your eyes on those pictures too, some of those mages look decidedly mean.<\/p>\n
