I’m having a few technical difficulties this week, which means I’m not able to get inworld as much as I’d like and seek out truth and justice! However, that doesn’t mean I can’t keep track of some things that are going and one thing that has caught my eye is The Fantasy Creators Yuletide Showcase. The event, which opened on November 21st and runs until January 9th, features 20 of Second Life’s fantasy creators, in a snowy setting complete with decorations, lights and more.

The event also features live music and then there’s a Yuletide Hunt.

The Yuletide Fantasy Creators Showcase features some of the most excellent and creative designers of attire, accessories, and items for your home (including homes) in Second Life. Here is a display of some of the items being given away FREE in the Yuletide Hunt. All you have to do is find the turquoise gift box with the pinkish ribbon hidden in each booth.

This is of course a shopping themed event, intended to highlight the work of Fantasy Creators in Second Life. Events seem to be a way that many creators highlight their wares these days and the bonus is of course that many of these events are fun to explore.

As I said earlier, the event runs until January 9th, so you have plenty of time to visit. This isn’t a multi region type event, it’s a relatively small affair but it also highlights that fantasy creators are alive and well in Second Life.

Fantasy Creators Yuletide Showcase

This showcase shines on the creativity, imagination and beauty of 20 of Second Life’s most excellent fantasy creators. Each creator was asked to pick their favorite items to feature. In addition, they are offering a free hunt item in the seasonal theme. Come join the fun and enjoy the live music and great gifts. Get your hohoho on with us.
