Unhinged, the month long event to raise money for Eku’s head, has officially opened. The aim of the event is to raise funds to pay for a prosthesis for Eku to replace a damaged bone, the full details can be read here. The event has kicked off with a twenty four hour DJ marathon, well different DJ’s are involved, but it’s going on for 24 hours so you have plenty of time to pop by. DJ’s include:
- The Doctor, Bronxelf
- Cruel Britannia
- Sredni Eel
- Grace Adamski
- Lokii (the Lokapottamus, the Fapmingo, the Freakkitteh Herself) Violet
- The Divine Ms. M
- Siggy Romulus
- Ailsa Muliaina
- Aribeth Zelin

There may be a Bronxelf Gothic theme at some of these DJ sessions, I just have a hunch.
However when I first landed in the Bloggers area, I got a tad confused. First of all, I was in a building that reminded me somewhat of The Shining, for some reason. I investigated the blogger packs and looked around for others, the place was empty, so I peeked outside and saw:
Now at this point, noting that my Chief Elf or minions were not with me, I realised one of three things was likely to happen if I didn’t vamoosh, I’d be attacked by Pirates, I’d be attacked by the Ghosts of Pirates or I’d be attacked by the people who had already attacked the pirates, weighing up my chances I ran for it and teleported to the right place!
Now being as this is a month long event it can’t be all partying and DJ’s, I mean there is plenty of partying:
However there are also plenty of merchants supporting the event too, in some cases releasing exclusive for the event.
There are a lot of merchants here, along with Dare Designs and AMU, some of the brands scheduled to have a presence are:

- PixelDolls (yes, really!)
- Trompe Loeil

However, I did seem to spot a little bit of fear and loathing going on at the event!
